the dog and the space

The dog always has been closely together of the man like companía, assistant for the hunting, guard and defense, deports, rescues, lazarillo, like thus also participating in the war, cinema, art, filatelia, publicity, comic strips, Literature, etc.
Faithful companion of the man for thousands of years, practically the dog has been comprising in all the stages of the human evolution, also had participation in the most fascinating adventure of century XX and the most ambitious profit of the human species, the conquest of the space.

The race dog spitz ?Laika?, that happened to history for being the first cosmonaut of Russian origin in 1956, has its own statue in Moscow, while ?Danka? and ?Kozievka?, other pioneers of the space, would be honest by the Soviet town two years later by to have contributed to the development of the astronautics.

In 1969 in the occasion of the trip around the moon and later moon landing, the American astronauts took the logo of ?Snoopy?, dog stars of comics, in the cabin of their spaceship, perhaps like a symbol and respect towards the small Soviet dogs that had made the first trips in the cosmos.
