Vaginitis of the puppy

The puppies often experience vaginitis (with unloading purulenta and mucosa) before the first fervor.

Although the youthful vaginitis is not normal, sends generally of spontaneous way after the first fervor.

The cases of several weeks of duration, however, can require antimicrobial treatment (Olson 1980).

The prevention is important in dogs that possen excessive coat around the external genitals or vulva gathered (inverted for inside) this consists of maintaining cleaning the perineal zone with little hair and avoiding so snot is accumulated that causes vaginitis.
