Glaucoma
What is glaucoma?
It is a process of ocular weave destruction caused by an elevation of the intraocular pressure over its physiological limits (tolerable).

Clinical symptoms and signs:
It depends if he is acute or chronic but as majority the affected eye is blind, the patient is very sore.
There is episcleral congestión (the red eye), it has edema of cornea (the opaque and cloudy cornea is observed) and is midriasis (expanded pupil). -
Treatment
The success in the handling of glaucoma demands an effective therapy and although they participate to several etiologías (several causes) in the complex glaucoma, the absolute determinant of the selection of therapy is the amount of produced and induced primary change within the iridocorneal angle. The option in general is medicamentosa and in smaller surgical degree

· Suppresors of the formation of watery substance (ej. Diamox)
· Mióticos
· Intensifiers of flow of uveoescleral exit
· Hiperosmóticos Agents
